June 23, 2008 - Dry Bulk invited to support Charitable event

From time to time, Intercargo is very pleased to promote a special charitable fund-raising event which we feel has particular resonance with the international dry-bulk sector.

This year, we would like to invite companies or individuals to consider making a donation to the Cargill "Three Peaks" team, which competed to climb the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in an exhausting 24 hour period. In 2006 , Cargill raised almost $1 million for the Seafarer's charity , The Sailors Society [www.sailors-society.org] and with the support of the dry bulk community, they hope to exceed that amount this year.
