The IMO’s Sub-Committee on Human Element, Training and Watchkeeping (HTW 11) took place between Monday 10 to Friday 14 February 2025. During the meeting, the following key topics were discussed:

  • Development of Training Provisions for Seafarers on Ships using Alternative Fuels and Technologies
  • List of gaps identified in the STCW Convention and Code, to addressed in phase 2 of the comprehensive review
