INTERCARGO’s brief on the outcome of IMO SSE 10

The 10th session of the IMO Sub-Committee on Ship Systems and Equipment (SSE 10) was held from Monday, 04 to Friday, 08 March 2024.

Among the 20 agenda items, lifeboat-related issues were one of the main focuses, including issues related to passenger ships, containerships, offshore, model training courses, and unified interpretation of provisions of IMO safety, security and environment-related conventions.

Here is the outcome of the relevant developments on lifeboat-related issues.
