INTERCARGO Quality Panel

INTERCARGO’s Quality Panel provides members with a means to address quality-related issues

In May 2023, INTERCARGO established the Quality Panel to strengthen its focus on operational excellence and best practices and to provide a vehicle for members to raise quality-related issues and foster collaboration among members.

In December 2024, as participation grew and regional perspectives became more prominent, the decision was made to divide the panel into two distinct regional groups QPEast and QP West with each panel operating under its own Chair and Vice-Chair. The current chair of QPWest is Metaxia Psalti (Neda Maritime Agency Co. Ltd) and of QPEast is Debashis Sen (Swire Shipping)

This restructuring has enabled more region-specific engagement while maintaining alignment with INTERCARGO’s overarching goals enhancing collaboration and ensuring broader representation while strengthening the association’s ability to respond to regional challenges with a unified voice.

The panels provide valuable insight and guidance to the Executive Committee, reinforcing INTERCARGO’s commitment to high standards across the industry.
