INTERCARGO’s annual Benchmarking Report for dry bulk carriers demonstrates year after year that
INTERCARGO’s entered fleet significantly outperforms industry averages in terms of Port State Control (PSC)
detentions per inspections and also PSC deficiencies per inspections. This has been the result of the stringent
criteria applied for adding vessels, while existing and new Members appreciate the reasons and continue to
support our Association. INTERCARGO’s commitment to safety, operational efficiency, and the environment
have become reference themes, and even more so in these challenging times when quality makes the difference,
which is the primary focus of INTERCARGO.

INTERCARGO is very proud and honoured to observe the growth of our Association, as it indicates that
INTERCARGO’s work and participation in international fora are appreciated by its Membership.
