The Database on Ship-Terminal Interface Issues, v.18.3, updated on 11 July 2019, contains entries of 584 ports in 102 regions/countries. In addition to the information about port reception facility issues, there is also feedback from bulk carrier masters related to other ship-terminal interface problems such as:

  • Anchorage,
  • Cargo shortage,
  • Corruption
  • Crew shore leave,
  • Depth of berth,
  • Length of berth,
  • Loading/unloading,
  • Mooring,
  • Ship to ship transfer (STS)

INTERCARGO members are encouraged to request their bulk carriers to use the “Template – Terminal Report, v.6” and report port reception facility issues and ship-terminal interface problems.
