INTERCARGO supports a Ballast Water Treatment System Regulation Round Table session that will be held on 26 September 2017 in Virginia, USA, and Full Members (and non-Members subject to space availability) are invited to attend.
The event is sponsored by the Connecticut Maritime Association, LISCR, INTERCARGO and INTERTANKO. It is aimed at Shipowners and will discuss BW regulations and treatments systems for those vessels calling at US ports. Captain Scott Kelly, US Coast Guard Headquarters, Office of Operating & Environmental Standards will deliver a presentation and this will be followed by an open discussion and Q&A session.
