The twelfth session of the IMO Sub-Committee on Navigation, Communications and Search and Rescue (NCSR 12) was held from 13 to 22 May 2025.

The key outcome of NCSR 12 includes:

  1. Amendments to SOLAS
  2. Guidelines for software maintenance of shipboard navigation, and communication equipment and systems
  3. Guidelines for the use of electronic nautical publications
