Issues with Ship Sanitation Certificate

Under WHO requirements, Ship Sanitation Control Certificate/Ship Sanitation Control Exemption Certificate (SSCC/SSCEC) are valid for six months, and its renewal must be scheduled and planned with sufficient time in advance of its expiration date by authorised ports – the list is regularly updated and current version available at WHO public website https://extranet.who.int/ihr/poedata/data_entry/ctrl/portListPDFCtrl.php. The SSCEC is valid for six months and extendable by one month if the inspection for renewal cannot be accomplished at the port of arrival.
