INTERCARGO’s Database on Ship-Terminal Interface Issues, as updated on 7 May 2019, contains entries of 518 ports in 95 regions/countries.
The Database has the information about port reception facility issues, as well as other ship-terminal interface problems reported by bulk carrier masters related to such as:
- Anchorage,
- Cargo shortage,
- Corruption
- Crew shore leave,
- Depth of berth,
- Length of berth,
- Loading/unloading,
- Mooring,
- Ship to ship transfer (STS)
INTERCARGO members are encouraged to request their bulk carriers to use the attached “Template – Terminal Report, v.6” (click here to download) and report port reception facility issues and ship-terminal interface problems.
