INTERCARGO is a founding partner of DryBMS, a quality standard developed specifically for the dry bulk sector to enhance safety and operational standards.It has actively advocated for improved dry bulk safety standards and participates in the DryBMS Governing Board alongside BIMCO, ICS, and RightShip.INTERCARGO members contributed significant input to the development of the standard.To manage and promote DryBMS, the Dry Bulk Centre of Excellence (DBCE) was established in London on 3 April 2024, supporting the implementation of the standard and advancing safe operations across the industry.
