The Database on Ship-Terminal Interface Issues contains entries of 808 ports in more than 100 regions/countries, based on 3816 Reports from masters of bulk carriers. In addition to the information about port reception facility issues, there is also feedback from bulk carriers related to other ship-terminal interface problems, such as:
- Anchorage,
- Cargo shortage,
- Corruption
- Crew shore leave,
- Depth of berth,
- Length of berth,
- Loading/unloading,
- Mooring,
- Port reception facilities,
- Port state control inspections
- Ship-to-ship transfer (STS)
INTERCARGO members are encouraged to request that their bulk carriers use the “Template – Terminal Report, v.7.0” and report any port reception facility issues and ship-terminal interface problems.
