IMO’ Intersessional Working Group on the Reduction of GHG Emissions (ISWG-GHG 4)

The 4^th Session of IMO’ Intersessional Working Group on the Reduction of GHG Emissions (ISWG-GHG 4)

is meeting this week (October 15-19) and will report the outcome of its deliberations to next week’s MEPC 73.

ISWG-GHG 4 is tasked with:

• Development of a programme of follow-up actions of the Initial IMO Strategy on reduction of GHG emissions from ships
• Further consideration of how to progress the matter of reduction of GHG emissions from ships and advise the Committee as appropriate
