INTERCARGO Brief on the outcome of MEPC 73

As the IMO MARINE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION COMMITTEE (MEPC 73) meeting has just concluded, we are glad to share with you the attached brief on its outcome  

that the Secretariat prepared focusing on key topics:

• Air Emissions – SULPHUR CAP on fuels from 2020
• Air Emissions – GHG emissions reduction (including meeting ISWG-GHG 4)
• Ballast Water Management
• Use/Carriage of HFO in the Arctic and Plastic Litter
