PSC CIC on MARPOL Annex VI, 2018

The press release from Paris MoU dated today (click here to download), highlights a Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) on MARPOL Annex VI to be carried jointly with Tokyo MoU from Sept to Nov 2018. The CIC aims at checking the compliance with requirements for the prevention of air pollution from ships.

The CIC questionnaire is available on 1 Aug 2018 on the Paris MoU website. We also request the attention of INTERCARGO members to Appendixes 2, 7 & 12 of the IMO “Procedures for Port State Control, 2017”.
