Our upcoming webinar aims to advise members with regards to mooring line management, focusing on mooring line management plans, potential solutions available and regions identified as higher risk for excess strain on mooring lines.
This will bring to the attention of members the results of 2025’s investigation into global mooring issues, noting ports where INTERCARGO members reported excessive stress on mooring lines.
There will be short presentations by Wilhelmsen Ship Services, Katradis Marine Ropes, Zhejiang Four Brothers Rope, D Koronakis and Black Rope as mooring manufacturers and a 20min presentation from UK P&I on loss prevention tactics for mooring line management.
The webinar will then include a panel of the mooring line manufactures and UKP&I, moderated by the Secretariat before concluding with a Q&A session after the panel.
