INTERCARGO Webinar: High Risk Berths and Mooring Line Management Plans

“High Risk Berths and Mooring Line Management Plans”, 16 March 2026 | 9:00 -10:30 AM (GMT).

 

Our webinar aimed to advise members with regards to mooring line management, focused on mooring line management plans, potential solutions available and regions identified as higher risk for excess strain on mooring lines.

This webinar brought to the attention of members the results of the 2025 investigation into global mooring issues, highlighting ports where INTERCARGO members had reported excessive stress on mooring lines.

It featured short presentations from Wilhelmsen Ship Services, Katradis Marine Ropes, Zhejiang Four Brothers Rope, and Black Rope as mooring manufacturers, alongside a 20-minute presentation from UK P&I on loss prevention tactics for mooring line management.

The webinar featured expert contributions from Wilhelmsen Ships Service,Four Brothers Rope, Katradis Marine Ropes Industry SA, Black Rope, along with a loss prevention presentation from UK P&I Club.
