On 31 March 2026, INTERCARGO, the International Association representing the bulk carrier sector, proudly presents its newly released Ship-to-Ship Transfer Guide.
This landmark publication represents the first dedicated industry guide addressing STS, transloading, and lightering operations for bulk carriers, celebrating the collaboration of globally recognized specialists who contributed their expertise to its development.
Bulk carriers remain the backbone of global maritime trade, with a longstanding heritage in shaping modern shipping. In this context, the new guide provides a comprehensive reference to best practices that support safe, efficient, and well-managed STS operations.
The presentation will be recorded and will become available on social media. A press release will be distributed on the day of the presentation.
Distinguished representatives from the international shipping community will present the new guide and participate in an interactive discussion with attendees.
