Dear Members of INTERCARGO,

The whole world and our industry are going through unprecedented and very challenging times facing the coronavirus pandemic.

INTERCARGO’s priority is to keep offering the best possible services to our Members, our Seafarers, and our Sector.

Listening to your concerns and through cooperation with our industry partners,

INTERCARGO along with a broad cross section of industry associations representing the maritime transportation sector

proposed to IMO a Preliminary list of recommendations for Governments and relevant national authorities on the facilitation of maritime trade during the COVID-19 pandemic,

that you may find in the just issued IMO Circular Letter No.4204/Add.6 attached.

IMO Member States and international organizations are invited, as appropriate, to make use of the annexed recommendations against the coronavirus’ impacts.
