Stowaway incidents and ports between 2010-2020

According to FAL.2/Circ.50/Rev.3, flag States are invited to provide IMO with:

  • statistical data on stowaway incidents; and
  • information on experience gained with the provisions of FAL Convention, section 4, and Resolution FAL.11(37), and the measures taken and obstacles encountered with their implementation.

Between 2010 and May 2020, more than 110 ports around the world were reported with stowaway incidents, as summarised in the table below.
